Serving Homeless Pregnant Women at Atlanta’s New Maternity Home

Each day, Sheltering Grace Ministry receives calls and emails from women and their family members who are desperately trying to find shelter in order to bring a new life into the world.

Sadly, we have had turn away most of those who call, simply because we do not have the room. While we do place calls to other partners who may be able to provide the women with assistance, there just isn’t enough space to fill the demand.

These women come from all walks of lives, from professionals who have been laid off, to women who have been through divorce or loss of home through no fault of their own, who simply cannot make ends meet.

Sheltering Grace Ministry has provided homes for these women and have successful helped women through the program, providing them support, mentorship and help bringing the new life into the world. We have acted as advocates for the life of the child and the mother, and have done it all through the faithful donations of a few.

Pictured, above, is a property that will help us help more women. This 15 bedroom, 9 bath facility was recently donated to Sheltering Grace Ministry to be used as a temporary home for homeless pregnant women and their infants. This means that our capacity has nearly tripled in order to serve the needs of homeless pregnant women throughout the Atlanta Metro area and beyond.

Needless to say, our operating expenses will increase significantly to cover the costs of staff, services, transportation and utilities, as well as governmental permits, preparing the facility for use.

We need your help.

As you have so graciously done in the past, we are asking you to partner with us by pledging a monthly amount for the next 10 months, or if you are new to partnering with us, we welcome you and pray you will consider partnering with us to bring more healthy babies into the world.

Our goal is to raise $650,000 through your pledges, donations, fundraisers and foundation support.  As a donor, we will provide you with our budget plans to show that we are faithful stewards of any money that we raise.
